Alio Labs is developing an entirely automated thin film optics fab incorporating our proprietary Quadrode™ plasma deposition technology. Our modern 30,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art factory in Santa Rosa California will feature both mobile and fixed robotic systems for all key steps of thin-film manufacturing including deposition, cleaning, substrate handling, inspection, metrology, and further optical processing providing lower costs and improved performance and quality.
Quadrode™, developed exclusively by Alio Labs, is built using large, custom stainless steel vacuum vessels on-site by our experienced team of engineers and technicians. Quadrode™ uses novel deposition architectures and new source concepts to deposit incredibly precise amorphous and low defect films providing the best performance in the industry at competitive prices. Substrate sized up to a half meter can be accommodated with a variety of materials such as oxides, nitrides, and metals.
